So we’ve had a month to rest and recuperate (read: play more video games) and now we’re starting to formulate our plans for Dragon Con 2015.
Guests and Attending Pros are already submitting applications for next year’s convention and now we’re looking to hear from you. If you have ideas for guests, panels, events, or even just general improvements for the Video Game Track, now is the time. As much as we love to hear from you guys, sending us guest ideas in June or July doesn’t help us much. =) (Note: Our guest application deadline is May 31 next year)
For those of you who are interested in volunteering at Dragon Con next year, our first volunteer meeting is in March and the easiest way, by far, to work with your favorite track is to show up and meet with the director in person. The Video Game Track staff is full right now, but the convention always needs more volunteers.
Some of you might think that October is a bit early to start planning for a convention that is 11 months away, but how many cosplayers do you know who say “Oh, I have plenty of time to finish that costume” and are scrambling to throw something together at the last minute? Same thing holds with planning a track at Dragon Con. Time flies when you’re having this much fun.
