Monte Cook

MonteCookMonte Cook is a 26 year veteran of the tabletop game industry, having written numerous short stories and two novels – The Glass Prison and Of Aged Angels. However, he is most known for his work as a game designer. Monte started creating games in 1988 and has since then created hundreds of tabletop roleplaying game books and articles. He first started working with Iron Crown Enterprises by managing the Rolemaster and Champions game lines, but then moved on to TSR games to work on a little game called Dungeons and Dragons. His most notable credits include D&D 3rd Edition, Monte Cook’s World of Darkness, Ptolus, Arcana Evolved, Numenera, Dead Gods, A Paladin in Hell, Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil, the Book of Vile Darkness, Pathfinder and many, many more. He co-owns Monte Cook Games, Stone Box Press, and Malhavoc Press. He is currently hard at work on both Numenera and The Strange, original roleplaying games from his own Monte Cook Games.
