While not strictly MMO-related, Dave Silva, a longtime friend of DC*MMO, is putting together his own RPG called Fractured Kingdom.  Some of you may have played the demo at Dragon*Con this past year.

From Dave:

Fractured Kingdom is almost ready. The artwork is done and we’re in the last stages of editing. The Kickstarter has launched and now it’s time to let everyone know. While I hope everyone donates to the project, I’m asking that you also help spread the word. Tell your friends, coworkers or anyone else you know that may be a gamer. House Dok Productions is just now getting its real start and I’m looking to all my gamer friends to help make it a strong one.

Here’s a link to the Kickstarter:
And if you haven’t been there recently make sure to stop by there is a ton of content and background materials on the world and new updates every week.
The core book provides everything players need to get started including: Generation, setting details, NPCs, and creatures, detailed artwork and an introductory adventure. Backers can receive copies of the core book, have their characters featured on the Fractured Kingdom website with illustrations done by the game’s artist. Join a private game or discussion on the creation of Fractured Kingdom, and receive a poster designed exclusively for Kickstarter.
While I haven’t announced it on the Kickstarter yet anyone backing the project will be able submit their own ideas for new Boons (powers) or magical items to be included in the first supplement.
If any of you played the demo at Dragon*Con, I’d love to hear your thoughts on the game.
