The Dragon*Con Directors had our first planning meeting of 2010, and we are officially in business for planning this year’s convention. Pre-registration numbers are (stop me if you’ve heard this one before) way up over last year, and all of the convention hotels are sold out of rooms except for our newest convention hotel. (The Westin… grab a room before it’s too late)
The main D*C website will be updating the Guest List shortly, but many of the early arrivals are already there. (Yes, including James Marsters…) The vast majority of our exhibitors and vendors booked 2010 at last year’s convention and anyone who did not make payment at last year’s con will be hearing from “The Office” soon.
We’ve got about 90% of our schedule done already, but as always, there will be a few surprises that we won’t have locked down until this summer. Keep coming back for the latest news!
